Thermocouple
Thermocouple
Does anyone know what the correct Grainger part number is for a typical thermocouple for a pyro install? I bought a set of used gauges for my Goat and I need to get a new thermocouple, but so for there is 12 pages of thermocouples on the Grainger site and a few dozen Type J models which is what i think I need.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Almost all EGT gauges use a K type...
The others don't normally read high enough.
Watch the K types also, I've run across a few that only read to ~ 1200*.
You need a min of 1600* and I use 1800* for a surge safety margin - not that I've ever got above 1300* - at least not much
