Thank You Dtr!

I replaced the lift pump today, now that I am done, it was not that bad. But I had help from the forum and researched a lot to feel comfortable just doing it. It used to idle at 10psi, just reving in neutral dropped it to ~7psi (just started doing this today), and dropped to 5psi under load. $215 later, I idle at 15psi and never drop below 12psi. This is the first time I think, for any vehicle, that the repair went 100% as planned and not a problem! I didn't even spill more than a few drops of fuel and it started right up afterwards. Anyway, the forum is a great help, thanks again!

PS NAPA said I had to install a new strainer to not void the warranty, yet there wasn't even one in the system for him to sell me. So, I didn't replace it, that wasn't to bad was it?

Yeah, I was a little confused, he said must replace fuel filter and strainer to not void warranty, I had changed the fuel filter yesterday, anyone know about the strainer? Thanks

thanks, well either way, I like to think the Fp gauge just paid for itself, the pump lost a lot in the last day and I'm sure was dying.

Think I'm on my 4th lift pump personally and I'm sick of the LP issue. Just gonna get a FASS next time and worry no more! Glad your repair went well though.
