Suggestions for all in one gauges.

My current gauges are a pda with my banks six gun. It took a crap and I'm looking for suggestions for a all-in-one type gauge or pod. Looked at quadzilla but haven't been into the new stuff for so long I don't know whats available anymore. So what do you guys use or suggest?
thanks

I like my edge cts, it's better than my bulldog outlook. I would check it out, and they are releasing more options for it.

They're all about the same. They read data out of the CPU via the OBD port, just like your PDA did. The only differances is how the display looks, and how many parameters it can display at once.

We have the Scout 2 which has Smarty POD control you can check out here:

http://www.quadzillapower.com/produc...ex.cfm/p/Scout

If you have about 4 weeks we are getting ready to release our "ViZion" monitoring system which is essentially the Scout 2 but, it is wireless or bluetooth and works on your iOS (ipad, iphone, itouch or your Android device)

When the Smarty does boost fooling, it is not really doing boost fooling. It is simply making it somewhat ok for the ECU to see boost over 32psi. So it just reprograms the ECU to accept it without defueling.

The thing is that is works great for some and not for others.

From a gauge standpoint the ViZion will read boost fine with the Smarty. If you stick an actual boost fooler in it will read fine until it starts capping the signal.

Now, if you are really worried and want to use actual boost fooling then you can use the Adrenaline/iQuad stuff. It will cost more but, you get a lot more as well even if you are not using the performance part.

With the Adrenaline you get a Turbo Timer, the FP transducer kit included, built in boost fooler (even in the PL00 position), and a real Rail Pressure gauge.

So if you figure it all up its still pretty much a bargain! Check with the DTR or another supporting vendor for actual pricing too as all I ever quote is MSRP.

The ViZion is great too but, it is definitely limited depending on what you are doing.

Oh, FYI, one of the next versions of the iQuad stuff for the Adrenaline will allow Smarty POD control as well, so it will be really great for stacking!

This sounds great, I am just running a Smarty Jr. so I will be able to read the correct boost (didn't realize smarty did it that way) will definitely want to pick one of these up to try out with my droid phone.

Thanks qzilla. I had seen that one on your website and wondered if it could be used alone without one of your performance modules. I don't have pod but it would be a good excuss to get it now.

You can buy the iTouch pretty darn cheap now. I looked on Amazon and I think they are under $200 for the new 4th gen now!

You can also get some great deals on a 1st gen ipad wifi 16gb now. They are under $400.

Also the whole reason we did Android was because they have a ton of nice sized tablets that are pretty darn cheap like these:

https://store.archos.com/archos-inte...et-p-5004.html

https://store.archos.com/archos-inte...et-p-5005.html

https://store.archos.com/refurb.php

The list is forever long and they are very inexpensive for what you get. Just make sure whatever tablet or internet device you get lists Bluetooth as a communications protocol in the tech specs.

Right this second we don't have anything.

If the demand is high enough we can probably do something.

The biggest issue is different wiring harnesses and more part#'s

Once its out we may put some sort of product request thing that people can sign or something and see if the interest is large enough to warrant the work involved.

x3 !!! Add me to the list for the 3rd Gen 2003-2004 trucks! I'm not into major engine tuning or the cost of the Andrenaline but at this point I'll take whatever I can get along the lines of a decent, budget-minded smart phone eng monitor w/hopefully a turbo timer & trouble code feature... asap
