steering rebuild/upgrade

I was at the dealer to get the front u-joints replaced and they found that i have some worn tie rod ends. They said that there is a new kit that replaces all the ends with new ones that are serviceable and are heavier made. I havent heard of this before but it is covered with my extended warranty so they are ordering a kit. Just hadnt heard of it before.

There are a couple of looooong threads in the 3rd Gen-Non drivetrain section. However the new tie rods are not greaseable. Happy reading
