stacking lift kits
Ok heres my question. I have a 4.5" tuff country lift on my truck right now. I want to get a little more lift on the truck. I was thinking about adding a 2-2.5 spring up front as well. Has anybody tried this and if so how did it work. I used a jack to raise the front the two inches just to get an idea and i didnt realy notice any thing getting in a bind. Drive shaft and steering all still looked pretty good. And i didnt notice the tires moving back from the control arms very much at all. As for as shocks and lifting the rear thats not a problem theres alot of aptions there. Ant input or ideas are appreciated. thanks

i stacked a 2" level w/ a 2.5-3 skyjacker kit eventhought i drove like that for 40,000 miles the axle was more to the driver side than the pass.
i had very bad death wobble sometimes at 25mph
but no one would drive my truck (but i didn't mind that)

Just make sure that the pitman arm has enough drop for the other 2". Here are some 6" coil springs for around the same price you were talking about......

i can understand the control arms and driveshaft but on the pitman arm and trac bar how is this diferent from a leveling kit. The 4.5 inch kit lowered thoses items back to stock alighnment so to me this would be almost the exact thing as a leveling kit. Keep em comming i appreciate all the help.
