Thumbs up Spiked Covers On!!

Well here it is, the final product. I think they look bad edit . They do sit on the shoulder of the lug nut, leaving a little of the gold showing. But when I have the rims powder coated black I will paint the back half of the nut to match and you will never notice. Now I have to piant the axle ends and I think that will satisfy me for now . What do you all think.

Of coarse, I love them! They are just the way I thought they would be. I have many uses for these smaller sizes. Just curious if these are the press-on type? If so, don't worry. It seems like they would sling right off, but if they are anything like my other covers which are press-on too, they will be there on and on. Even some of the ones I had where a little loose fitting, but I never lost one. The spikes I have now are the screw on type, but you shouldnt have any trouble with yours.

For everyone interested, the website is www.unitedautoandtruck.com

Yes, I have to give props to performance, who pointed me in the right direction. They are the press on type performance, and I was glad to see that the were a nice snug fit so I am not worried about them flinging, just someones sticky fingers. They sell in pieces, so all 32 pieces were 36 bucks, about a 1.15 each. But the shipping was 15 bucks! Its all good, though, I was stoked when I got them and how sick they look on! Here is the link to direct page where you can order them up. 15/16 is the size! Thanks for the comments.

Looks good!

I like those rims. Are those stock on 3rd gens?
I think, powdercoated black, would look good on my truck, with the spikes too

Yeah gas, the aluminum rims are a stock option on a 3rd gen. I will be powder coating them black some time in the future, until I can afford a sweet rim and tire set up!

Are part number 10767B for 15/16" lug nuts the right part?

Also, torkmnster, can you give me an approximate outside diameter of the spike? I want to see if they'll work with my wheels which have recessed lug nuts.

Thanks!

Pt, OD is 1 3/16th, and yup you got the right part number too.

Kenny, I think they would go great with black rims.

Don't give me to much props! I kind of let you be the guinea pig on this one! Trust me, you will have everyone touching them to see how sharp they are.
