I put the 315's on my truck and im about 3-4 MPH off on the speedo, what can i do to get it corrected??

 

Take it to the dealer,& have them recalibrate it.Cost me $25.00 & took about 5 minutes.It will also re calibrate the pinion setting to have the trans shift where it needs to .

 

I'm not sure if i want to take it to the dealer though, i mean will they flag it because it has bigger tires so if my suspension goes out theyll void the warrenty??

 

From what I hear they may.BUT.I had 35"X12.50's on my truck,after the 33"X12.50's.& Now I have 285 70's on it & my dealer didn't have any problem with that.It depends on the dealer.My dealer said that as long as I don't get a fueling box/chip,etc. on it that he see's he won't have a problem.But like I said.It depend on the dealer.Good Luck.

 

I haven't heard of anyone getting into a problem with a dealer because of running 315s. Just go in and ask them to set your pinion factor. It takes about three minutes with the DRB tool. Have the revs per mile ready to tell them. I think its 601 for the 315s. If he says he can't set it for 315s go to another dealer or tell him there is an option in the menu for "other" under tire sizes.

I had it done and I wasn't charged.
