Got a 95 3500 2x4 auto and it shakes and vibrates like crazy when you put your foot into it at speeds above 50mph im not sure I think it may only do it when in OD. It will only do it if you have your foot in it pretty hard. The truck is completely stock with less then 220 KMs on it but has a new factory rebuild transmission less then 15000 KMs ago.

Check the u-joints and the center support bearing (if it has one).

Thats probably your torque convertor.
OR
It could be the OD clutches too.

Follow the old rule of thumb
If it only does it when you floor the throttle?
Then don't floor the throttle!

Seriouly though don't allow it to shudder !
It can ruin the entire transmission...
Been there done that.
ATS and alot of money. Mine has quit shuddering.

I would take it back to the shop for proper diagnosis.

Ya thats what I figured I might as well do since theres still warranty on the tranny.

 

Torque converter gone. It took out the tranny as well so new tranny and torque converter under warranty
