I have been using the 5-40 rotella t,no problems. If you have a john deere tractor supply company, you can get the john deere "50"plus oil. It is still CI-4 rated and costs $14.50 a gallon. I just got some yesterday, and am gonna run it. They are gonna keep the CI-4 rating for a long time. Hope this helps. The john deere plus 50 is 15-40 oil..

I normally use Rotella T. Always have until the Delvac sale. I grabbed enough oil to do two changes. After that it will be which ever non synthetic is cheaper of the two.
