Question on RAM AIR/SCOTTY 3 installation.....

Just installed my Ram Air 3 on my CTD. Now, is it normal that the intake to the turbo/from the RAM AIR gets pushed back and is not in its old resting place? Also, the filter minder seems to be just dangling there; can't really get it to 'seat'. Didn't come with instructions, but it only took 5 minutes or so to install. Don't have guages so I won't be able to report and EGTs...I'll take it for a spin tonight to work (12 hr. Grave yards :'()
TY

Yes, the turbo inlet hose will be pushed backwards a bit from the stock location, due to the length of Ram Air III. Its probably sitting about 1 inch or so further back.

As for the filter minder, I need you to PM me with your information, as we've got block off plugs available for the filter minder. We've hunted high and low for a minder that will work in high velocity air situations, to no avail, so we've got some plugs here for any customer that wants them.

Rod

When I installed my Scotty 3 I also had a bit of trouble getting the filter minder to seat. Easy fix; just spit (yuk!) on the rubber to lubricate it and it slides in to a proper seat.
