power puck switch

I know this has been talked about before. I have used search and still have not came up with a real answer so help me please. I just bought a power puck last weekend. I am wanting to keep it on 60hp and drive easy until I get some gauges installed. The instructions say towards the notch is 60hp and away from notch is 90hp. The middle being off. This feels correct to me but I cannot tell for sure. I can tell a difference with the puck on but each setting doesn't feel much different for sure. My truck is an 03. Some say the switches were backwards compared to instructions. It seems that the ones that have said this on here all seem to be like 06 trucks and up. I'm just trying to figure out where to run it till I get some gauges. Help please.

I just installed mine also on a 05 I think the switch is backwards also. But I am curious to see what others will have on this. I would think 90 HP would have been more of a kick in the seat but.......once i hook the trailer to it we'll see.

Their directions have been backwards for some time and I cannot believe they have not corrected it. As far as I know, towards the notch is the 90hp setting....

I will be pulling about 7000lbs today. Maybe with some weight behind it the settings will be more noticeable. If not, I may just turn it off. I don't want to mess anything up. Hopefully that will give me some more insight.

Everyone that says the instructions are backwards seem to have an 05+ model. I have stated before that on my 03 that the 90hp seems to be opposite of the notch, like the original instructions state. I tried to use the predator to check the HCPR fuel pressure with each position, but I was just checking while parked & reving the engine, so I dont think It was reading right because it was the same no matter what the position. But by just driving it feels stronger with the switch opposite of the notch.
