No running lights now...

I replaced the headlight switch due to the head lights failling, now I lost the marker lights. I know I read an old post on this but I'll be darned if I can't find it now.

The wires and connector are good, all fuses checked good with meter. I can get the Markers to come on if I barely pull out the switch they turn on (this is before the first "notch") but with the headlights on they go off.

What am I overlooking or doing wrong? Besides breathing!!

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like you got a bad switch to replace your bad switch.

Sounds like a bad switch right out of the box.

Forgot to mention I replaced the "new one" with another "new one" from a different store still no lights. Thinking of returning that one (auto zone) and going to Napa, hard to believe that I could get two "new" switches that werw bad. but then again stranger things do happen!!

Thanks again.
