I would look at a set of twins from relentless diesel. They are only a couple of hundred more than a good single and will drive more power and be more streetable. The HX 40 will not live on a 3 rd gen engine it will over speed it and poof. A good single in the form of a b-1 or a phat shaft 66 from industrial injection are both good turbos but I would go with twins if I could do it again.

nevermind just found it, however what i found was $2900. Looks nice though, just havn't heard anything about it really since i heard you mentioned it. Although i still dont know how its making all that power with out replacing the head gaskets or anything. but i am still intrested in a bigger (not to big, streetable) single turbo upgrade before i dump all the money into twins, does this exist? Anyone have info on the sp66, how much? and how they like it?

That is the turbo that I am running, just bought from a different vendor. Less than 45 lbs of boost and head studs are not required but are recomended over about 40 I believe. I am running right around 45 peak. If I recall properly the turbo is about 2000 and about 200 for a new down pipe(required for new turbo). Not much difference.
