New Tires

I got the BFG 315's put on my stock wheels yesterday, they sure do look a lot better, even the wife approved! I do have a slight rub at full luck nothing real bad. I read some owners stating that they dont have a rubbing problem at all, is there anything I can do to keep them from rubbing? Thanks

Do you have a 2inch leveling kit in the front? Their are several different types out there, polyurethane spacers, metal spacers,or replacement springs. Sumitt has the Skyjacker springs for 165.95 on their website. The extra 2 inchs makes the truck look better in my opinion.

No I don't, I was wondering if that would keep it from rubbing, yes I agree they do look better with the front end leveled out. Only 165.95 for the springs?! That sounds like a good deal to me!

if your tires are rubbing on the control arms you need to adjust your steering stops, lifting/leveling won't really help this.

315 BFG's are notorious for DW.....don't be surprised when it shows up. At least you'll know where to look first.

Seen several folks start throwing money at the front end trying to chase it down, and never cured it until the tires were replaced with something else.

BTW, your tires rub because you have too much backspace on your wheels. Only way to get rid of it is to switch to a wheel with less backspace.....
