Here is what I do:
Winter-time = 50/50 white-bottle Power-Service and Marvel Mystery Oil, both mixed to bottle recommendations, if I remember correctly -- 12 ounces PS and 8 ounces MMO per each twenty gallons of fuel.
Summer-time = one fifteen-ounce bottle of store-brand equivalent of STP oil treatment per twenty gallons fuel.
If I have nothing else, I will dump in a quart of any old engine oil per twenty gallons.
also what is the diff between a stock air filter and the bhaf
The stock air-filter fits in the stock air-box.
BHAF is Big Honkin' Air Filter, or somesuch, depending on your ethnic upbringing .
It is something like half-again as big around, and somewhat longer, than the stock filter.
It will not fit in the stock air-box.
There are a bunch of methods to house the BHAF, including plans in the Sticky for a sheet-metal housing, and a stainless cooking pot converted into a filter-box; some simply let it lay loose, under the hood, un-protected.

Could you do us a favor. Go up to the navigation bar, click on User CP, click on Edit Signature, then write down what you have. Things that would help are Year, Tran, 4x4 or not, and size of truck, whether 250 or 350. Thanks!
Now on to the turbo side of things. The w/g one are in 14cm and 12cm. Then there are 16cm, 18cm and *gasp* the 21cm "Lagmaster" From what I read, go to 16cm or smaller is you have the 21cm that came in the 92 trucks. If you have any other year, the 12 cm is what people like to put in.
