Need pics of exhaust tips...

Afternoon, DTR...

I just got a new 5" exhaust system, and I need to get a tip for it since it is not long enough to clear the bumper, and I'm getting soot all over the side of the truck again...

I can't decide if I want a 5" to 5", 5" to 6", mitre cut, flat cut, chrome, black chrome...

If you have pics of your setup, I'd appreciate it .

TIA

mad

I would go with the 5" to 5" chrome miter cut.

I'm staying with my stock 4" but I am going to add the 4" chrome miter cut tip. I like the looks of the miter cut better than straight cut.

I've got a 6 inch mitre cut. have never had a 5 inch tip on before but the 6 inch does give it a nice deep tone and it doesn't look too big.

Here is mine. It is a 5" into 6" mitre rolled stainless. Mine extends past the bumper as I do not like soot on my bumper or quarter panel. It also helped with the drone a lot by moving the exhaust away from the truck's chassis. If I was to buy a new one I would get the same tip but only in black as now I have a lot more black on my truck then in these pics. Stainless is very hard to keep from getting "stained" up here in the winter and road construction months.

Agreed...mine is 5" into 6" mitre cut tip (MBRP). Looks solid. Not too big...
Still getting soot on the bumper and fender, but i'm more comfortable with washing it off from time to time than having my tip stick out past the side of truck.

Well, thanks to my good buddy Kevin (Txwelder), I now have a chrome 5-6" mitre cut tip... I asked him what he wanted for it, he said, "Just being friends with you is good enough."

Not sure if it means he feels bad for me or what, but if you have a chance to hook a brother up, he's got one coming

Click the pic for the vid...

The chrome mitre cut tip looks good with your truck's color combination Madhat.

That was a very nice gesture from Txwelder!
