Id say a Bell USB (62mm). Very streetable. Search them and see what they can do (my buddy is putting down probably over 900hp with on and one is also on the TS truck). They are the cadillac of modded turbos.

i was told by a local guy that i should run a Sledpuller66, i dont care much about lag as i use the truck alot for street racing. i just want something that will keep my egts in check. dont have the $$ for twins right now so i am lookin for a big single.

I don't know much about the ATS 2000 turbo, and it looks like you're running lots of fuel. Generally speaking, if you're running that high of egts while cruising at 70 mph, the turbo is to LARGE. If you've got egt problems at full throttle, the turbo is too small. If you've got both problems with the same turbo, you've got a problem.

Think about going to a smaller turbo along with water injection as a solution. A HTB2-12 or PS62 work well in this situation.

Well from reading on ATS's page the aurora 2000 isn't wastegated and runs best at 32-38 psi. How much boost are you seeing? You should be able to upgrade your turbo through II or HTT for a lot less than buying a new turbo if ya can deal with some down time.

thats kinda what i was lookin for. right now as asked above, i am seeing up to 46psi and like stated above, ATS 2000 peak is at 34 to 38. i am well over that and overspinnin it. i just want a turbo that will keep egts in check at FULL THROTLE

Will ATS upgrade yor 2000 to a 5000? Or could you use your 2000 as part of a twins setup sold by ATS?

I was looking at 66s too but I didnt want the lag. If you want a 66 look at super phat shafts.

A B-1 Steroid would be pretty nice set up with the fuel you have and they seem t spool decent for their size.

no they wont upgrade it to a 5000, already asked them. they said i can upgrade to their twins which they will send me the 5000, plus a wastgated housing for my 2000, and all the hardware. only problem is they want 3600 just for the second turbo and piping. i can get a BRAND new set of BD twins for 2700 and that includes both turbos. i mean at cruising speed, i can keep the egts in check no problem. only when i am fully flored and the boxes on is when it gets OUT OF CONTROL BAD. just lookin for my best SINGLE turbo that will elemenate my full throttle problem.

only thing is i was just lookin at the B-1 Steriod and it says it is not recomended for DAILY driving. thats my problem i am lookin for the BEST turbo that will solve my problems and still be able to use my truck as a daily driver. i mean if i have to i guess i can just save up for twins but i just really like the BIG SINGLE turbo trucks.

I'm also following this thread with interest. I am getting ready to buy a new turbo. I'm leaning toward the Phat shaft 62/14, S300 62/14, or Htt 62/14. I'm shooting for around 400hp
