lowest 1/4 mile time
what programmer/ module would give me the most power at the rear wheel and the quickest 1/4 mile time. i have been looking at smarty and the crazy larry.or is there any others better? what u guys think?

Well they both smoke well. I think they REAL CL is only for 05 trucks. I know bullydog offers the crazy larry but it isn't as extreme as the one for the 05. The Smary for the 06 will be a nice addition. Both will smoke alot Smarty more than bd at low foot pedal settings.

Crazy Larry and smarty are both comparable in 1/4 mile times. Really your choice on that. Those 2 modules are simply the quickest ones with nothing else done.

i have the crazy larry on my 06 and i love it. i have ran it at the track yet to get an exact time but my monitor say my best time ever is a 15.1 not sure how trust worthy that is though. oh and if you behind me when i get on it you better have your windows up because all you will be seeing is smoke

From the info I have gathered. The Smarty is faster than the normal crazy larry download. I will compare it to the CRAZY bully dog tune that I'm running and find out. I should have dyno and strip numbers within the next couple of weeks.

Both will smoke the #@%& out of your clutch and it will be reflected in your poor times. The Smarty will smoke your clutch easier the the BDCL but its a total waste of time and money to try and race a truck which producesso much power it will just slip all down the track.
GET A CLUTCH!!!

I just put on my reading glasses and saw he has a 6-speed.
OOPS double wammy for him, He get's a 2 second 1/4 mile penality for trying to drag a 6-speed. Seriously dude if you wanted a quick Diesel you made a terriable choice in getting a 6-speed manual.
Yes there are like 2 or 3 of them out there but its impossable to make a manual as quick as an auto mod for mod. Manuals typically need about 150 extra HP to do the job the auto does. Do your self a favor and stop before you start.
It sounds like you have lots to learn
good luck

In that thread there was only a 5 hp difference in the Smarty vs the Bullydog.
Programmer for programmer a Crazy Larry will run faster than a Smarty IMO....no i have not been to the track but my seat of the pants meter is sensitive and fairly accurate.
Smarty does smoke more.
