What will I loose with a smaller injector?

Im thinking of letting my 6s go for a set of Mach 4s and was wondering if I will notice a big decrease in power? or will the less fuel help in spool up? my SPS62 lights ok but its a tad bit smokey and I cant help but wonder if a smaller stick will help out, when I ran the 6s with my old PS62 I got 511hp with hardly any smoke on the street, but egts were on the hot side, now I have great cooling but im not to fond of the smoke, also my old combo of stg 5 Jammers and the PS62 with a TST Comp netted 496/989.

I think the 4's would work nicely with the sps62. I run 4's with a ps64 which is just a bit slower than yours and the only time I see any smoke is when I'm really laying into it or lugging along <1400 rpms. I think the 4's would produce more power than your old jammer 5's.

I'll pm my other thoughts

I recently went from 4's to 6's and see no gain in spoolup (4's were fast)..... so I would not expect you to loose any.
I believe HP ratings on Mach injectors are accurate, so you'll loose 60-70 hp... but the 4's do clean up quicker and your EGT's will be less. The 6's pull noticably harder above 70-80 mph.... as you might expect.

Jammer 5's I've seen on the dyno appear to be in the 130 hp range...with more smoke.

Has it been hot and humid where you live? My 4.5 are great during the cooler months for low smoke, but once the hot/humid weather gets here, not so good.

What are you stacking with your TST?
