After several hours of inspecting and checking over my truck I've decided I'm wasting my time because it's just too foreign to me. I've only driven 1/2 ton gas chevies for the last 20 years. It's like becoming fluent in spanish and then moving to china.

I'd like to find someone who REALLY knows these trucks well and hire them to help me get my pump tuned up a little and do a full detailed inspection of the whole truck. I don't mean a 10 minute walk-around. I'm talking several hours. If there are any parts that need replacing(or will soon), I want to know about them as well as any quick and cheap upgrades that will a big benefit.

I'm not far from the stateline and I95. If I could find someone within 100 miles, that would be super. My schedule is open/adjustable and the truck runs fine so I can bring it to you.

Actually this engines are really not hard to work on, there is a section on this site with lots of great info on HOW TO do almost anything You'll want to do on this engines/trucks it is the sticky really worth a look. Of course there are lots a folks that love to get dirty with this trucks, if You're fortunate You'll have lots in Your area.
