Leveling Kit--Carli vs Kore?

Looking to by a leveling kit for an 03 4x4. Both Carli $755 and Kore $655 have same shocks and links, just different springs. The dealer says the Kore springs would be better because I plow in the winter. Any opinions would be helpful. Looking for better ride vs off road stuff.

What's wrong with spacers? If you just want it leveled, why spend $700+? Get better shocks for a better ride.

Comparing apples to oranges....

To the poster. Call direct to KORE & Carli and tell them what you want to do w/ your truck (if you haven't all ready) and go from there. I am bias w/ what's in my sig.

I think KORE would be better, if you plow during the winter. Stiffer springs, would hold up bit more than Carlis stuff. IMO. Plus ur saving $100.

if your needs are more for plowing than performance, there are companies that will have springs made for you in the height and stiffness you need. IIRC i was quoted around $350 for a pair 3.5" over stock height.

I installed the KORE Leveling kit, the springs are a variable rate spring, would do a nice job with your snowplow. I have been very pleased with the KORE performance, put the kit on in the first month I bought my truck also the Bilstein shocks all the way around. I'm at 30K no sag or height loss and still traveling down washboard roads at much greater speeds very confortably. The Carli products came out after I installed the KORE kit but truthfully I still would have gone with KORE. It is good that you are looking beyond spacers, some have had suspension problems with the spacers over time. My alignment was right on after installation and still is right on, no strange tire wear like those who have used the spacers, no DW problems either.

Thanks to those who have replied. These are kits for $$755 and $655 which include Bilstein 5100's and the sway bar links. The only difference between the two is who makes the springs, Carli or KORE and of course the $$$$$$$. I was wondering was it worth the $$$ for Carli or would they both provide the same ride? I don't want to rattle my teeth out going over pot holes in the summer, and as for spacers I rather not use them. Some people like em, others hate them!

Carli rides softer than KORE, but KORE is cheaper priced if that is an issue. Both have different coil rates. KORE will ride stiffer, but still better than stock and spacers.

Lorenz offers different spring rates for his leveling kits, 6% over stock and 23% over stock, take a look at those if you plow alot. I have the 6% and it gives the truck a much more balanced feel, the front springs were mushy feeling on anything other than a straight road IMO.

Are you saying that the Lorenz at 6% are mushy or that the stock were mushy?
How much was the Lorenz leveling kit and what exactly did it come with? Did any of you have to install an adjustable trac bar, or should I do this with the leveling kit no matter which one?

Just went to the Lorenz site and his leveling kit is $$665 with the upgraded links. It also recommends the 23% if you have a plow. Throw in this kit, all seem the same except for price, same shocks, and links, spring rate probably different but not much. Which one would all of you buy??? I have read in the past that Carli and Lorenz are pretty much the same for quality. Is this true?

NOPE. Lorenz has nothing on Carli. Like I said before, go with KORE. It will be nice during the winter, and will still ride better than stock during the summer. Carli's kit is nice, and abit softer but I think KORE would fit your needs.
