Thumbs up Less fuel, better power.

Now I didn't say "more" power. I finally got a chance to put my latest adjustments under a load and I am a lot better off than I had been. My EGT's were through the roof. I could peg the meter on a hard pull. I wound up backing the fuel screw down three turns from maximum and now I can hold it to the floor without exceeding 1300. I'm still seeing 35 pounds boost. I did bump the timing up to a full 1/8 inch and striaghtened the muffler out to a striaght thru design. Now if I can keep my rear end from puking oil I'll be alright.

Tuning is where it's at. If you can't use the power, it's only hurting you and costing you money! Glad to hear you've found you sweet spot.

Red Oaks Diesel, They are not as strong as POD's but they are better than stock and don't haze nearly as bad.

I just turned mine back 1/2 turn last week. Was disappointed with the power loss at first, but its fine now that Ive adjusted. EGTs dropped from 1350-1400 at WOT, to 1250 again. Its nice to have the safety.

I've been seriously considering that as well. The roads up here won't support aggressive driving for another 4-5 months and I spin the tires on the ice just letting out the clutch.

I should probly just go and install a valet switch though....
