what kind of clutch is best
was just wondering if ya'll could help on what kind of clutch would be best to install. i am looking at a feramic or a kevlar faced hd from valair. my truck is basically stock but i am looking at replacing injectors fuel plate and turbo. am planning on haveing a shop do the work and they told me i would be getting around 425 hp. thanks for the help

Do a search on clutches. There are many, many posts on the subject.
Personally, I like my Con FE from South Bend Clutch. Its (IMHO) the best single disk clutch out there for the higher HP crowd and have been around for while.
If you are going to go extreme pulling or higher HP, you may want to consider a dual disk setup which are available at a few of the extreme puller vendors.

i have been reading the threads about the clutches from south bend. they seem to be prety well built and hold up well. i don't haul anything that much, 24' stock tailer and sometimes a 32 or 36 hauling cows for a sale barn. that is probably the reason my clutch is going out. engine is still strong with 243k on it so i can't complain
