injectors or nozzles

I'm going to be replacing my injectors this winter. What is the general thought of replacing complete injector or buying nozzles from some place like DDP. And having my local fuel shop install them?

I bought my injectors on a group purchase of like 10 or more people purchased at about $220 for the set and I had H & H diesel out of Milton Wa install them. Later they told me that there cost on these injectors was $960, but all they needed to do was to change the nozzle and adjust the bar on my current ones to achieve the same results. Now I have lots of power, but I also have a haze at an idle and mileage went from 18-21 to 11-15 at best. I called them back and they said it was about $500 to take em out, rebuild with a smaller nozzle, ouchy.
I would rather have better mileage now and a little less power (easier on everything else down the driveline).

what size are you looking for? a lot of places are out right now making quality injectors for reasonable prices.

Reasonable $$$ yes, and some nicely set up stuff to boot. The 12V injector world has come a long way in the past couple of years, I`m making more power (butt dyno), less smoke, NO haze and it`s looking like a bit of an MPG boost also (gotta run this tank down some more).

I was thinking of the ddp stage II or III. I'll have to call to get size and amount of holes. The stage III is 100 hp. DDP says an increase of 1-2 mpg if driving like a human. I'm also going to add a denny t fuel pin. Fuel dhop told me 175.00 to swap over tips and set bar & psi.
