I'd like to....
Let everyone know about a shop I just tried out in the lower mainland..... FixRite Auto in Abbotsford.
I have to give very high marks to this shop. I booked my truck in to have the head studs re-torqued, a coolant leak fixed, and an AirDog installed. I got a call at the end of the day yesterday (friday) to let me know that they couldn't finish it that day because they couldn't find a part they needed and the part wouldn't be in until today. They aren't normally open on the weekends, but Tyson came in just to finish my truck and get it back to me.
When I went in to pick it up he informed me that the AD they had in stock was actually an older version and Tyson wanted me to have the newer version. He had installed it anyway and informed me that he had ordered a new one and when it came in, he would install it free of charge!
I also had a few other issues when I took my truck in that I knew about, but didn't tell them about. I like to test new places I go to, to see how thorough they are. I was pleasantly suprised when they found all of the above problems... and even one I missed. Tyson gave me a list of what they found... prices they could fix the different things for... and other recommendations.
Needless to say I am very pleased with their service and the quality of work they did! I don't normally write things like this... but they deserve it.
If you're looking for a good local shop, I'll give full backing to Tyson at FixRite Auto.
I'd also like to thank Anthony at AD
