Has neon tried to use a watercooled hx35g on a 1st gen? I figure fabing up coolant lines by teeing into the heater hoses. Its got a 14cm exhaust housing to.

Theres an hx35g on ebay and it says in the description 60mm wheel

 

You got me wondering. What if you mounted a heavy duty trans cooler/fan combo and an electric pump. Or maybe a heater core/fan and a pump. With the fan you could mount the cooler under the truck and not use the valuble real estate behind the grill.

 

The ones in Fleabay are 50mm compressor and 60mm exhaust. And a different part# but I guess if its a 50mm ill hybrid it.

Well found out its a 50/60/14 if I get it id have to hybrid it. How hard is it? And can the 35/40 back plate be swaped out like the h1e h1c hybrids? So far Im getting it pretty cheap.
