what hp/tq # am i looking at

ok i searched this but cant get a real world number what kind of hp/tq am i looking at with a 100 plate full foward, afc foward, star wheel turned then if i add a set of 370's and 3kgsk what am i looking at. This is all on a stock hx35 for now. i'm just trying to figure it out what kind of power i will be making some day so i know what to tell dave for the power rating i want to be at. Then i will include i want to pull and up my turbo to an htb2 or compareable someday

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say 300-350hp but I really have NO idea when it comes to a 12v. I'm used to the properly valved trucks.

texas, i got that setup and your going to need another clutch, stock clutch don't like a 100 plate slid forward for long. Your going to need gauges too.

This combo will melt your pistons into a blob before you finish the first dyno run...

Full forward on a plate makes for some "dirty" power, and high EGT's.

While they might be properly valved..

they are horrendously PUMPED hehehehe. Well id say ur right on the money. Here are some baselines with mine, with a banks plate and a manual transmission full forward I am about 330 rwhp, with a 100 i estimate myself to be at just around 350 or so. i need to get back on the rollers. But it will be after my shelf mods and a clutch are in..

Wanna is right, ur clutch is gonna hate you! mine hates me with a passion...

Tx

325-350 Sounts about right to me!!! If you get some air into that thing you could be up around 375!! That is if your Tranny get the power to the ground!!

That auto is going to need some work to hold that setup. Melting pistons is why you need gauges a pyro or also called a EGT exhaust gas temperature gauge is the one that you'll need to monitor that. The pyro is tapped in to your exhaust manifold and monitors exhaust gases leaving the cylinders. If the gases get to hot in the cylinders it can melt a piston. I use 1250* as my stopping point when I hit that I start getting out of the trottle and gearing down to cool everything off.

Your EGT's will probably be pretty darn high with the plate all the way foward. You need some more air to keep that lil' puppy cool.

With a 215 pump and 370's I will bet you will be over 400 hp. Probably won't be useable due to high egt's.

I don't think you need another turbo the one you have is just fine. A 100 plate is a very agressive plate it flows alot more fuel than your stock plate and that makes your exhaust gases hotter. You won't melt anything if you get yourself a set of gauges. I run the 100 plate and 370's and have no problems, I tow with this rig and can still keep things in check. If you run it at WOT all the time or tow a load up a steep grade to long and your pyro is reading 1300, 1500 to long its going to melt the pistons. but if you just keep an eye on the pyro you'll be just fine.

#100 plate + 370's = LOTS of fuel. you'll need LOTS of turbo. In your original thread, you said Original HX35 for now. we're talking about right now.
