Holly blue.....dead!
Well my Holly blue finally bit the dust.....shut my truck down, like, right now, right here! When I replace it I think I will plumb a "by-pass" valve in the system. Better than changing the plumbing on side of road.
Funny thing, when I tried to re-start the first time it quit, the odometer flashed and said "done", that's kinda what I thought at first also.
The factory lift pump is still in the system and working so I have some time to get it fixed.

How old is it, how many miles on it? I have a Holly Black under the back seat waiting for this BD Carter to die. My stock pump is still running also with 96,000 on it.

Not many people on this forum like talking about Holly fuel pumps. Didn't you know, you can't use a Holly pump in a diesel fuel system? They were not made for diesel.
