hitch ball mount
What brand/design of hitch ball mount you guys have? I'm trying to decide which one to get. My truck is stock and probably won't see lift in the future as it's high enough already.
These look like decent pieces but pretty expensive, however I don't mind spending bucks on something that will last a lifetime.

those are "purdy"...aluminum ones. Never used them though. I used the old fashion heavy metal ones that get rusty.
I've seen them on a CTD that was yard truck for a boat service place. It was bent real hard. I'm sure they abused it though.
Good luck.

We use a similar one on our Kodiak to haul a 24' Featherlight cargo trailer. We like the ease of adjustment if we switch trucks/trailers combos.
Shiny, strong, spendy!

Why aluminum?
It's not like the steel ones are all that heavy.
My "adjustables" consist of three different mounts, some which I turn over in order to get different heights.

I have the solid steel 2" type..not hollow tubing..
on it I mounted a 1" shank convert a ball..the 3 size model..
been working fine for me..
I would wonder about the shock absorbing ball mounts..any good?
