Help, need NAPA front rotor part #'s!!!

All,
I just droped a bunch of money for new front brake parts from NAPA. The rotors I just received, part # 85843 for $77.99 each are for a 4x2. I punched all the correct info for my truck, 4x4, D60 etc online, and was given rotor part # 85843? Anyone here order front 4x4 rotors from NAPA for their D60, and have the correct part #'s? I think this is the last time I try and order parts online I'm better off just driving down to NAPA I will have to exchange these for the correct 4x4 rotors. TIA!

There are 2 knids. One for around $50-$60 and ones for nearly $100 a piece. The ones that fit are the lower ones. Hope this helps.

I know the ones for the 2wd are about 40 to 50 bucks each... I think the ones for the c note are with the hub... Jake

Edit:...

Oops...I thought you had a W350. Sorry! 85843 does seem to be the right number. At least the picture is right...I think. So the part you got has the hub included? Did they ship this number? Maybe something got in the wrong box?

Truckerdee,
Nope, the rotors I received are hubless, for a 4x2 It could be they are in the wrong box? I am going to go to the local NAPA tomorrow and see what's up? Thanks all!

All, here are what the rotors I have look like: http://tinyurl.com/2tmao5 On 3/4 and 1 ton 4x4 trucks, is the hub portion pressed onto the rotor? I know on a 1/2 ton, the rotor/hub are one singe unit. Every search I do for W250 rotors, Autozone, NAPA, Advanced, the rotors all look like the pic in the posted link. This leads me to believe that the hub assembly is pressed onto the rotor? Am I correct here?

Yes, the rotor is pressed on. The splined knurl of the stud holds the rotor to the hub. One or two hits per stud with a 2 or 3 lb hammer knocks them right out. If it takes more than three or four hits get a bigger hammer.
Just got a rotor for my 92 w 250 and the better rotor is #85843.

GLHS,
Thanks for that info! I had the notion that the hub and rotor were one unit, like on a 1/2 ton. After taking a look at the rotors I bought from NAPA, part #85843, I can see why the hub is a separate unit. Man, those rotors are big!

Before knocking out the studs make sure you put the lugs on about 5 turns first. You don't want to damage the stud. My preffered hammer is a 12 lb sledge. One hit and your done.
To reinstall use a large old bolt or large blunt punch of some sort about 6-8 inches long to bang them back in. Wear leather gloves. It usually takes me about 10 - 15 hits. Of course, if you have access to a press that would be a bit more gentle.

it takes some "creativity" but you can press them in using a stack of 2X4's and a bottle jack......
I basically found a area of the frame that I could press against and used the bottle jack(against the stud) and, by "jacking up" the hub agains tthe frame rail, it pressed the stud into place..
wish I had a picture, but if you think on it, you'll probably see how I did it.

Once the lugs are out the hub just about falls out. Thats what happened with mine.

*Note* I don't know how safe this is but I've never had a problem.

Ive put them in by screwing the lugnut back on (flat side in) with some heavy washers behind. I put the assembly on a piece of cardboard and while standing on the edge of the rotor with both feet use a tire iron and draw it up tight. I have done this since '87 when my Dad showed me this trick.

Thanks all for the tips on removal/install for the front disc hubs. Luckily I have a 'one hung low' 12 ton hydraulic press. Should help out, if it doesn't break on me
