This is the first time this really happened. I used some WVO form a different source and it was semi-solid at room temp. I heated it up to 130* like usual and converted it. It did titrate pretty low, just 2 over. I did it 3 times and I use 4/40 when I titrate and divide by 4. Anyway, I washed it 4 times and pulled a sample to dry. It looks just like wet fuel, but it isnt. I heat it up to 120-130 and it is a nice translucent amber.... pretty nice. When I let it cool back to room temp, it looks cloudy. I put some in the fridge and it was jelly at that temp. Should I just cut it down with kero or diesel and run it? It gets into the 40's at night still and I do have a fuel heater on. If you need pics to help diagnose, let me know. Maybe it is a issue with semi-solid oil and it is normal. Thanks

 

You aren't a noob at this so it should be safe - but I would cut it like you thought to make it easier to use.

 

Well, I figured it out. It was a noob mistake. I bubble dried it overnight like usual and heated a sample on the stove to hear for any popping or crackling indicating water in the oil. Everything I did checked out ok so I put 5 gal. in the truck just to play it safe. Got to work and my Racor had about 1" of water in the bowl. I put in some FPPF Bio Fuel Power and it pulled all kinds of water out of it. Here is some I put in a mason jar and you can make out all the tiny bubbles of water falling out of suspension.

Lesson here.... Save the bacon fat for frying your eggs, dont run it through your Cummins! I think I will give the rest of the batch to the neighbor with the Power Stroke
