heater hose

NO1BE4Me I'm not sure what size it is but I got mine from a regular auto parts store, actually Advance Auto. It should be a stocked item. I'm thinking also it is 1/4 inch, it's realy a bypass vent hose and should have a couple of bends in it. Just my .02

Mine started leaking. I had some ¼" fuel line laying around and it worked for an emergency repair. Never remember to get a new one at auto parts store. Been holding for 2 years.

Yah, local Dodge dealer wanted over $38.00 for this MOLDED HOSE.....
Cummins asked -get this - $12.35 for it, and thought it was overpriced.

Might be well worth it to get the right thing, IMHO.

Oh, and the Cummins parts guy said there are like FOUR part numbers for that little hose - different engine series - asked for my engine s/n.... Just so's you know.

Your wright halfpint23, the dealer was over $40, I called a few hose suppliers and found that U can get 1/4" silicone hose for bout $5-$7 a foot, hi-temp hose, 350far. Being a molded hose I tried a parts store and found carquest to list and have 1 in stock, made by Gates USA, under $12, went that route, so try out some parts stores, they may have them, thanks for all the replies.....peace.
