I just did the headlight relay mod and I have a small problem, the drivers side head light is on brights when the other one is on dim and it goes dim when I hit the brights, I've switched the wires around and nothing so far has fixed it, what did I do wrong?

 

My DRL does that, dvr side bright and pass side reduced intensity. I've improved the grounds to no avail. I just run brights now instead of DRL, and my low beams are OK. I have a sneaky feeling that the solution to your problem will fix mine too, so will stay tuned.

 

A bad ground will cause that issue if I am reading it right. Make a new ground to the chassis to use with the relay mod.
