So far with my low amount of mods I have raced and beat the following.

04 power stroke crew cab 4x4
06 f150 crew cab 4x4
300z
infinity sports car(like the 300z)
honda civic tuner(late model)

The were all basically from the 45-50mph range up to 110 or so and they all were left behind. The only one that went from the start was the f150 and it didnt have a chance. All of htem on level 4-5 on the hot juice except the honda which was 3-5

 

i crushed a geo metro from start where 2 lanes had to merge to 1.

 

400 hp gto. buddy should not have been talking smack about his wifes new car . ohh yeah imagine the look on his face if it had the sledpuller on it then. it also had a slipping worn clutch. waiting for the unsuspecting vette or other at any moment . really list is too long for me to remember honestly. best when it has a trailer in tow

I have a 99 coupe, standing start or 80mph rollon..take your pick..
Something about hp/lb and aerodynamics..Don't get me wrong, I love my CTD, it pulls like a freigh train, but I would not call it a race car. Oh the CTD is "enhanced", also.

 

audi a4, volkswagen gti 1.8t, 04 flowerpoke 6.0, 79 gmc 1500 with supercharged LT1, subaru STI from 60 mph, scion xb, tc,

and some more i cant remember. but these were the most fun i think.
but i have also been beat by a few things also.

the most horrible was an 05 flowerpoke hopped up with something beat me by half a truck, but he was an auto.

you coming to Indy? 80 is a lil fast to start. if the vette is stock I would even put money on it.

 

80 a little fast? Life starts at triple digits..Oh and the vettte is not stock..(what is nowdays) FYI, aero engineer friend of mine did some calcs with the Ford Cobra. They need 50+ more rwhp than a vette to keep up above 140mph. Think what the CTD needs, 3200lbs vs 7500lbs, and the aerodynamics of a house. But I love that CTD, got in a little pulling match last fall up Stinking Water Pass in eastern Oregon, Dura-pad smaller camper and pretty much same snowmobile trailer. I saw the smoke come out the tailpilpe so I know he was on it, didn't matter I walked away like he had an anchor tied to his bumper.
