Fuel Pressure Isolator

I called a local shop for install prices on gauges and he said that they would mess with isolators anymore. Something about bleeding air or something, or??What does a isolator do? and do i really need one?? Thanks

What brand of guages? My autometer guage is electronic.. Very nice. Just taps into the cp3 or fuel filter plug in power and ground and no fuel in truck!!

Well, depending on where you put your gauges, do you really want to chance the gauge going bad or the line leaking diesel in the trucks interior?

If you want to run the risk you don't need an isolator, otherwise.....

Or you could be like XLR8R and run it outside and put in by the windshield wiper!!

He might have a pic in his gallery...

Isolators have been know to cause lotsa grief, you could use a needle valve like I did instead, just open it a crack to get rid of the pulsating, pics, UAP part numbers etc in my gallery.
