Talking Fuel Filter Change!

Well just dropping you all a note to say I just changed my fuel filter yesterday for the first time! Piece of cake!

I would like to thank those who put the effort into the making the process as painless as possible and I would also like to thank you for saving me about 50 bucks ( dealer install cost ).

I do have another question in regards to lubing the ball joints...I noticed when I was under the truck that it only had 2 nipples for the grease....is this the only two required? and if so what grease do you all recommand?

Cheers

Yep, those are the only two (4x4 models). I give them a couple of squirts of lithium grease that I have in my non-marine grease gun at each oil change.

Grease nipple size..

Are the nipples a standard size? I have to get the Needle Point greaser from NaPa tomorrow and a grease gun as well.

Yes, they are just regular zirks. Book says to use grease that meets National Lubricating Grease Institute standard for LB (chassis grease).

I prefer to buy synthetic that meets NLGI LB and GC (wheel bearing standard), so I can use the same grease for whatever.
