FiverBob ... Welcome Back
How was your trip through the maritimes and all places fishy?? You picked a great time of year to hit that part of Canada!

Hey man, it was great. Newfoundland was probably my favorite - - Gros Morne area is just amazing with all the inlets, fiords, lakes (oh, I mean "ponds" - - they have no lakes there ). Then the north end around St. Anthony, Cape Onion - - quite neat. We stayed in Pistollette Provincial Park. Very nice.
Cape Breton is very pretty with the cliffs coming down to the sea. Reminded me a little of Hawaii in some areas. And the Fundy bay area is amazing with the 55' tides. Boy, the bay is nice and full - - 6 hours later you are looking down into a 50' hole of red mud with all the fishing boats sitting on the bottom of the bay. You can walk along the bottom where the whales were playing 6 hours previously.
It was a great trip. The CFO and I were looking at each other over a cup of coffee two days ago and decided it was time to hook up and get out of here. We are WAAYYYYYY too busy since returning. No obligations, no appointments, no stress, nobody needing anything from you when gone - - just get up each day, drink some coffee, check out the Moose apples in front of the steps, get in the truck and go see some more beautiful scenery, have some lobster or Digby scallops or salmon, take pictures, walk in the woods, look for gems or fossils - - - wow, am I ready to head out again??? YOU BET!!!
Thanks for the welcome back.
