first upgrades

I have an 07 megacab with what is listed in my sig. as you can see my cummins is about as stock as they come. I have a few ideas in mind for what i need to do to get her woken up but would love some ideas form any one that has more experience at this than i do. Did I mention that this is my first diesel. what would be a good first addition? I was thinking that guages would be my best bet so I can keep an eye on everything for future mods. I live in portland OR so Isspro being a local company would be that choice. What guages would be most critical? I am thinking pyro. boost and trans. I would like to keep the turbo stock, for now at least. Is the predator/powerpuck a good choice for a programmer? I was looking at a boost fooler is that a good idea with a stock turbo and diablosport items? I pull a 17' boston whaler and 15' trailer w/ 4 quads and on occasion a big tex dump trailer. I know warranties are the cheep way of getting out of a fix so everything I put on I want to be able to take off with relative ease.

Any ideas would be greatly appreicated.

Derek

You are on the right track, buddy. Gauges are good to have.

For a removable box for what you want to do, i would suggest Quadzilla, but thats because im not a smarty fan.

Might go Smarty & save your warranty. Depends on your dealer on other mods. Ask.

thanks for all of the help. As soon as I get a chance I will throw some gauges on and ask the dealer what they thinks about mods. I cant imagine them getting too testy about the gauges, i mean it never hurts to keep an eye on the vitals.

I wouldn't tell them you intend to mod it. They will probably kill your warranty on the spot. No need to raise a red flag for them...

they gotta prove it and even then they have to prove that it WAS that mod that caused the part failure.......
like you said tho, no need to raise red flags.
