exhaust question?

exhaust question?
This is a dumb question, but if i was to order an exhaust reducer to connect a 3" id pipe to a 3.5" ID tip, would i order a 3.5-3" ID reducer? Also, for a 3-3 ID, i would just order a 3" ID coupling right?

are you sure you have the 3" inside diameter piping? I know for OD pipe u need an ID adapter:
3"od to 4"od heeds a 3"id-4"id coupler. check out grand rock for some couplers, and reducers.
