Smile Exhaust gas temp

Does anyone have a photo of the correct location to drill to install the probe
for the EGT gauge? I am planning to install the Auto meter #3344 kit and
wanted some information before I made the purchase.
Thanks Tim

When you drill through the manifold for the tap it works pretty well to have the engine running to blow the small pieces of metal out. Then use a small magnet to get the reall tiny stuff out after using the tap.

I have always used a grease/magnet/shopvac with "straw sucker" attachment. Not many shavings laying around after that.

I've always used some wheel bearing grease on the drill bit. Stop every now and then to wipe it off and dip it in the grease again and continue drilling. I've never had a problem with metal getting in the manifold. It's too hot for me to do it when the engine is running.
