Edge w/ Attitude speedometer not working?

I finally got around to driving my truck a little bit after getting the Edge w/Attitude installed last week. I noticed that the speedometer on the Attitude unit is no where near being correct. I pretty well sat at 130 mph the whole time I was driving the truck. As a matter of fact I think it said like 105 mph after I started the truck (before it left the garage). I didn't install the unit, and the instruction manual is about useless for trouble shooting, so before I call the company I was wondering if you all have ever seen this or might have any idea why this could be happening? Thanks!

Did you set the tire diameter in the Attitude? I has to know what the tire size is to give an accurate speed.

Yeah, the tire size is set . . . and they're only 285s, not much different than stock, so I wouldn't think that it would be reading 130 mph if I'm going 60 mph?

I can't remember but does it have a setting for Kilometers/MPH? that might be the problem.

I don't know if there's a switch for metric/us or not . . . but I still don't know if that would explain why it's reading a positive speed when the truck is sitting still. It read 104 mph (and I'm pretty sure it's on us) when I was BACKING out of the garage - I know because I had the alert set to go off at 100 mph, haha.
