dyno'd today

i dynod my truck today with whats in my sig, ran the smarty tnt on 7 and 9 both with tq 4 and tm 3 and made 514hp and 1233tq. there was only 6ft lbs difference between the settings, hp stayed the same. just wondering what you guys think of those numbers? do they sound about right?

i had it on level 3 with the pressure only tune. it was holding 24kpsi+
also it was on a mustang dyno, not sure if that makes much difference.

i think a smaller turbo might of got more hp, but only because it would of spooled faster

holding 24k ? sounds about 3 k short, I hold 27 k all the way down the track.

You need a set of sticks for sure with that turbo. You don't have enough fuel. That is why your numbers are lower than they should be.

i had started the pull with about 10psi of boost and was at 50 by the time i hit around 2000 rpm. would that 3k psi make a lot of difference in power?
sticks and cp3 upgrade will be my next mod

Not exactly, he is not holding the rail to support the fuel he is pulling. A CP3 is definately the next step......

I will add that you think your holding 27K, your probably way over as the stock psi sender is only accurate to 26,500ish.. If you show 27K then your at or above 27K, and there is no way to tell... One of the reasons 26K is the reccommended max.

ok, my quad rail pressure gauge thinks I am holding 27 k........... my rail pressure plug is not capped. that is a ton of power tho for stock sticks, interesting to see what each click on the pressure box did for ya.

Thats a silly amount of pressure, since it could actually be at 30K and you wouldn't know.

It is supposed to go around 26K IIRC.

But the main point is 27K readings aren't accurate, the psi could be MUCH higher.

With stock sticks I say BULL.... With bigger sticks he can tune around the fueling issues no problem but depending on what size he goes with he may or may not need a CP3 upgrade. Tuning is the key.
