different backseat?

I'm sure someone has done it, but I'm wanting to swap out the back seats or lack of for a bench seat that faces forward. Maybe one that could hold a car seat any suggestions?

I pulled my jumpseats out and replaced them with speakers.

I think you could build a mount on the floor for a childseat.

the speaker idea crossed my mind too. Four 10's would sit nice back there and I have several ppi amps from a few years back that would push some subs fine. I think with only a few months before my kid is born my wife will probably hang me if I spent the extra cash on subs.

The jumps work fine for a baby seat. I checked with the state police here and they said as long as it was an OEM seat with OEM belts it was sufficient for the car seat. Not sure what having it "sideways" does but I've reared two kids that way so far.

Seems like some have swapped in a ferd or chivy bench, can't remember. Try a search and see? Still, no matter what you do, there ain't going to be much leg room...

Ive seen one on here with a 2nd gen seat in it, but I think it might have been a stretched cab. The Chevies up to 98 had a pretty small backseat, so one of those may work.
