Coolant flush/one way valve?
Hey guys-
I'm starting to smell coolant in the cab and get some steam through the heater vents when the thermostat opens. Before I spend a whole weekend doing the heater core or paying a shop $1000 to do it I'd like to back flush the system. One of the local shops said it was worth a try because sometimes blockage can cause the problems I'm having.
Anyway I searched the topic and was wondering where is the one way valve located and when is going to give me problems? What heater hose do I Install the flush tee in? Any reason not to use a tee?
Thanks
