Coastal Plains - Today!!!

Any of you guys want to come run with some DMax boys at Coastal? We get tired of racing Mustangs all day and like to see other diesels out there. They open at 12:00 and racing goes 12:30 - 4:30. I probably won't get on here but you can call me 330-442-7879.

Looks like even the rest of us aren't going. Normally we are at Coastal almost every test and tune day - especially if we have done anything new to any of our trucks.

Well Rob and Justin went to watch and then called and talked me into coming. I was the only diesel there but turned out a 12.37 and a bunch of 12.4s. There was a twin turbo GTO there running 10.7s on motor with stock heads until he blew an aftermarket rear half shaft. There were a couple ~11.5 Mustangs and Camaros there and a few 12.5~12.8 cars. It was a pretty good time, not busy at all just pull up and run - never a line in the staging lanes.

I am surprised they let that GTO run. Ronnie and those guys wouldn't let me run 1/4 because he said nothing faster that 11flat (something to do with his insurance) and i would run mid 9's there. Oh well.
congrats on the 12.37. Your truck is flying,

I forget when they start making you have a 'chute there but I have seen Majestic Motorsports Supra and a few Civics last week run 9s there - but they all had 'chutes. I'm pretty sure they care more about your trap speed since they don't have the longest coast down. Thanks for the congrats.

Thanks,
Who knows what all I'll have done by then, I'm still on all stock internals and a modded stock turbo, single stock CP3 from an 06, all motor. And if you do spank me I can always sick our built motor truck on you - 11.41 @ 120 so far on all motor. I'm waiting on a set of headers and up-pipes right now and hoping to get one modded or dual CP3s in it this winter, then when I'm getting enough fuel I'll add bottled air. Those stock internals are gonna be hating life even more next year - but I'm slowly collecting parts to build a motor. I want to twin off my current charger with a big charger (80mm or bigger) in the future.

I plan on using something bigger for the big turbo since i have the 70mm cheetah for a small charger, but depending on price it may still come from nathan.

madhat - I wish co-owning a shop meant ++$$$. Economy has business a little slow and with us just starting up we are putting in much more than we are making so it actually takes money away that would be going into my truck. We're still in the spend part of "Gotta spend money to make money". Someday we'll have a truck owned and sponsored by the shop.
