Clutch making noise when engage/disengage
I have an 06 with 31K on it and the clutch makes a noise everytime i push the clutch in or let it out. It makes the noise from start to finish. I have lubed every possible moving part on it and still does it. Had the same thing happen at around 12k and took it to dealer and they ended up replacing the master cylinder, fixed it until just recently. What is causing this?? It is also noticeably harder to push the clutch in and harder to let it out slowly as you get ready to go. Starting to really frustrate me, will be taking it back in before warranty is up, but I sure hope this isn't something that is gonna need to be done every 15k. Anyone else with similar expereince?

Mine makes a little squeak. Is that what you mean?
Sure hope I don't have to take mine in.......I hate going to the dealership
Let us know what happens.

what kind of noise? The harder peddle force is pointiing to the master or slave or clutch.
I had a shop screw me by not replacing both master and slave. I ended up driving to the shop by turning the engine off to stop and driving around in 2nd. The slave went bad

my clutch makes a similar noise while engaging and disengaging no problems shifting though i bought the truck used and spoke to the previous owner and he said that it had a sled pulling clutch in it and it is set up that way have you ever heard of that?

mine has made a noise since day one. still on the stock clutch. but pushing it in or leatting it out. it makes a not good noise.went to the dealer. they said it was the plastic clutch peadel and all the other plastic stuff. i have no problems but for what it i paid i would like to have steel parts.

The truth is I could replace most of the plastic on that truck but then I would have to make it a full time job.

I don't like the plastic clutch peddle either. I was thinking about making a new one out of a chunk billet aluminum with a pressed in stainless steel pivot or bearings.

I didn't fix it the first time, was under warranty, the dealership replaced the master cylinder, my point was I am not going to take it every 13-15k to get a new master cylinder, just wondering if this is a common problem, which it sounds like i am not the only one. I also hate taking my truck to the dealership, but i am not ok with the way it is, it kind of squeels/moans everytime you push it in, or let it out, and it is much harder to push in or out as well. I will let you know what happens.

Mine would often squeak a little, something like releasing an air brake only much quieter, on the release. The only way to make it stop was to start driving to the dealer to have it checked out
Its stopped squeaking completely at 27K miles, knock on wood.
