carter Lift pumps

I hear alot of people running carter pumps, some good and some bad. I wanted to know what models those pumps was along with how they worked, does anyone recomend running one? other than a stock or a high dollar fass pump it don't look like there is many choices.
Thanks

Last month I bought a stock LP from Cummins and it says CARTER right on the pump. So, I guess they build LP's for Cummins.

If they'd last it'd be all I need. With the vulcan lines/fittings my fp is strong even with my mods using a carter pump.
