Where can I get a T-25 VP44 torx bolt?

One of the bolts stripped out when I was installing my TST plate for my Comp wire. I got it out with an extractor, but it is jacked. I need a replacement bolt. Where can I get one of these? Anyone?

Torx bolts should be available at Lowe's or HD. T-25 is not uncommon.... Just look in the parts drawers....

Sears will have what you need. Or Matco, or Snap-on, or Mac, ect, ect.

You need the tamper proof bit. You can get one from TST diesel and most places that sell the stealth covers.

Why do you need to use a Torx bolt? How about a button head cap screw instead.

Mine was not a tamer proof bolt, I bought the tamper bit and didn't even need it - mine were standard torxhead. I just need a M5x.80x40mm button head bolt, allen head, torx head whatever. I just can't find one that will fit. I am thinking of just drilling the hole larger and using a standard hex head bolt. Even a bolt store I called didn't have anything.

I can't believe that Lowe's doesn't have an M5 .80 bolt. I'll go check tomorrow while I'm spending my child's inheritance there....

ALl mine had was a standard hex head bolt which will not fit unless I drill my stealth plate. I am still driving around with 4 bolts holding it on instead of 5. Next time I am in Dallas I am going to stop by Metric and Multistandard.
