a/c compressor?
a/c compressor?
Does anyone know if a freightliner truck compressor will work on my truck? They look very similar. The part # for freightliner is 5333. I am able to get one new for $179.00 if it is. I was just wondering before I pull it off to compare the two. Thanks
The compressors on my FL70's are identical to that on my Dodges. There are only a few manufacturers of the actual compressors, and as long as it is for the 134A and fits, it should be just fine.
A word to the wise, do not ever use a sealant in the 134A system, it will ruin the fixed-oriface tube. It will also be necessary to have it recharged by someone with a true vacuum pump with a good dryer once the system has been opened.
