Getting ready to spend some money on a stack for my EZ. I'm trying to figure out what the differences are in the Bully Dog Power pup and the Triple dog...Other than the $100 price difference... Can anyone provide some input? Thanks in advance!

 

there are a few variations between the two. The triple dog is upgradeable, the power pup is updateable...the triple dog works all three brands of trucks, the power pups are usually vehicle and year specific. I would vote for the triple dog in your situation.

Does the triple dog come with everything you need to plug it in (USB cable/software) to get the upgrades? Or do you have to send it back to them for the upgrades?

 

You'll need a USB cable...the software is available on bully dog's website your dealer can do it for you.

Remember that the programs on the Power Pup are more agressive than the Triple dog on the older ('03-'04) trucks, but the downloader is not upgradeable. The Triple Dog is also supposed to be harder to detect.

 

The main difference in the Power Pup vs. The Triple Dog is that the Triple Dog is adjustable on the fly.
